about
A synthpop cover of Ghostbusters originally written & performed by Ray Parker Jr. Funds made from every purchase of this track will be donated to the mental health charity MhIST.
MhIST (Mental health independent support team) are a charity that support people suffering with mental health issues in the local community of Bolton. I chose MhIST as the charity for this release because I have a long standing history with anxiety and depression. When I was a 16 year old I turned to their services for counselling Fast forward to this year and I'm still struggling with my mental health problems, and to add to it career prospects. So I've decided to pursue a career as a mental health practitioner which led me back to MhIST for experience and I am going to be starting as a volunteer for them. To me it was a no brainer when deciding on the charity as they've been there for me when I've needed them so I thought it was fitting to give a little something back.
Ghostbusters by Pretty Glass Folk & Friends features: Dark Smoke Signal, Glitterwølf, Megan McDuffee, Millennium Falk, Neon Arcadia & Xennon.
Thank you so much to everybody involved I've wanted to make this a reality for a while and without your help I wouldn't have been able to make this as huge as it turned out. I'm utterly thrilled. It's been a joy to work with you all. I want to throw out a massive thank you to Benny from Neon Arcadia and Scott from See Thomas Howl for your unwavering support.
lyrics
Ghostbusters
If there's something strange in you neighbourhood
Who you gonna call? (ghostbusters)
If there's something weird
And it don't look good
Who you gonna call? (ghostbusters)
I ain't afraid of no ghost
I ain't afraid of no ghost
If you're seeing things running through your head
Who you gonna call? (ghostbusters)
An invisible man
Sleeping in your bed
Who you gonna call? (ghostbusters)
I ain't afraid of no ghost
I ain't afraid of no ghost
Who you gonna call? (ghostbusters)
If you're all alone
Pick up the phone
And call ghostbusters
I ain't afraid of no ghost
I hear it likes the girls
I ain't afraid of no ghost
Yeah yeah yeah yeah
Who ya gonna call? (ghostbusters)
If you've had a dose of a freaky ghost baby
You better call, ghostbusters
Lemme tell ya something, bustin' makes me feel good
I ain't afraid of no ghost
I ain't afraid of no ghost
Don't get caught alone no no
Ghostbusters
When it comes through your door
Unless you just want some more
I think you better call (ghostbusters)
Who ya gonna call? (ghostbusters)
Who ya gonna call? (ghostbusters)
I think you better call ghostbusters
Who ya gonna call? (ghostbusters)
I can't hear you
Who ya gonna call? (ghostbusters)
Louder
Ghostbusters
Who ya gonna call? (ghostbusters)
Who can ya call? (ghostbusters)
Who ya gonna call? (ghostbusters)

filled to bursting with horror and bugs, but also extremely addictive synth and guitar work. instances of industrial synth and gothic rock, with a terrible feeling of dread permeating it that I adore. so much to love in such a small package. very solid, sinister release. palehorse666
This is so funky. Too damn funky! You can't handle this level of funky! You have been warned! I won't be responsible for your casual attitude toward the funk! The funk is a responsibility. Now, take this EP off into a corner and jam and think about what you've done! FoxPuppy

Synthwave goes pop on the latest from UK artist LAU: Irresistible cotton-candy vocal melodies, and electronics that go off like fireworks. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 20, 2021
I’ve always loved the funky side of Alpha. But the dark, wonderfully creepy ballads shine on this album! Tracks like Snuff ‘Em Out (my fav thx to a vid Alpha shared last month), Veins or Meat Ribbons are amazing. Synthwave sounds stale to me lately because of similar sound, omnipresent arpeggiators, weak melodies and basic harmonic structure, but Alpha’s unusual chord progressions as well as comparatively exotic melodies entertain me. I’ll be returning to this EP a lot; happy for the cas Tichounko
